The last of my spring mini sessions. Between that and the melting Vegas heat, however much I want to deny it, I guess that means summer has arrived. Here on the surface of the sun…

These short and sweet mini sessions are right up my alley. Brief and to the point! However, I stayed a while longer because I could not stop photographing this little girl. She’s beautiful and so natural.

A beautiful family in their beautiful home… a photographer’s dream. This family had been through some difficulties. They told me they wanted the photos to be a celebration of making it through. They were such a calm, loving family, my only hope is to portray that through their portraits.

Oh my. What can I say about this session. A good chunk of my photos are blurry because I am busting up laughing behind the camera. One of those families you instantly love. One of those families who really like each other and want to be together. One of those families you want to be a part of. Hope you like the photos, W family, because I need to have another session sometime just so I can laugh like that again. So many favorites, but here are a few.

Ok, so these were just for fun, but I actually like how they turned out. If ya’ll ever make an album, this would rock as a cover.

I feel like for every post I say it’s “one of my favorite sessions”. And whomever actually reads this blog might think I’m full of it. But I’ve just come to realize that my last session is always my favorite session. And I’m ok with that.

By the way, these kids were so fun and cooperative. They were trying so hard because they knew Mom really wanted good photos. It was very sweet.

By the way again, the last one made me gasp out loud…
