My Photography Philosophy

I believe that happy people are the most beautiful people, and beauty has nothing to do with how a person looks.

I believe in making the person in the photograph look as good as they do in real life.

I believe in skin texture and natural eye color.

I love beautiful photography, but I’m not interested in perfection in my portraits. I don’t need you to have perfect hair and make up. I’m not looking for perfect children in designer clothes. I want to capture who you truly are. So wear what you’re comfortable in, keep your kids in simple clothes and come as you are.  I don’t do a lot of posing. Most of the time I will put you somewhere, stand back, and wait for something to happen. Hopefully, you won’t even know I am taking your picture when you give your child a kiss on the cheek, or share a look with your spouse. To me, photography is about connections and moments – I look forward to capturing yours!
