Orange Julius

If you’re on Pinterest, you’ve probably noticed the slew of Orange Julius recipes floating around for the past little while. I’ve tried a few, and they are just not quite “it”. So I’ve been experimenting, and I’ve finally found it. THE perfect Orange Julius recipe.  This really does taste just like the real thing! Here’s my version:

  1. 2 cups good Orange juice (NOT from concentrate!)
  2. 1/4 cup water
  3. 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  4. 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional)
  5. 8-10 ice cubes (I use 8 every time)
  6. 1-3 Tbs Eggbeaters Egg whites (THIS is the secret ingredient that makes it frothy! If you like a lot of froth, use 3 Tbs… if you only like a little froth, use 1 Tbs)

You can also use raw egg whites, but I like the Eggbeaters for safety reasons – it’s pasteurized. Enjoy and feel free to re-pin if you like it! Let me know what you think!

Because they are excellent students when you want to play Teacher.

OK Pepper, you have to listen so I can teach you ok?

What does this say?? Stretch it out….   aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrr

No, no.. you have to look THIS way so you can read it, OK??

Hmm, maybe I should use a different marker?

Ok, can you read this word? Just sound it out…

It starts with “ah”. Can you say “ah”?

No, no Pepper. You can’t take a nap. It’s not rest time yet.
