Real Life | Las Vegas Photographer

This family is genuinely real. They don’t put on a front. They don’t say what they don’t mean. They just are who they are. And they let me capture it on camera.

One of my favorite “smile” shots. I adore how she scrunches up her nose when she smiles.

One of the paintings we saw at the museum was seriously haunting me- to see an original painting up close – to see how it jumps off the canvas – is a unique experience. This painting is entitled “Faustine Leo”, by french painter, Henri Lehmann, 1842. It’s such a soft, feminine pose, I had to try it.

Check out the Metropolitan Museum’s database for more posing ideas. Don’t bother purchasing those “posing guides” you’ve seen all over the place. Study from the master painters who spent years studying posing, color and lighting. All for free!
